Gigi Ligons is an Implementation Consultant on the FICO® Score Open Access team within the Scores group at FICO. She joined the FICO team over four years ago and brings to the group over 13 years’ experience in financial services. Her passion for financial literacy and empowerment through education continues to shine in her leadership of the FICO® Score Open Access program for Credit and Financial Counseling, a program designed enables credit and financial counseling providers in the US to share FICO® Scores and educational information with their customers.

Bruce McClary is the vice president of communications for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling® (NFCC®). Based in Washington, D.C., he provides marketing and media relations support for the NFCC and its member agencies serving all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Bruce is considered a subject matter expert and interfaces with the national media, serving as a primary representative for the organization. He has been a featured financial expert for the nation’s top news outlets, including USA Today, CNBC, NBC News, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, MarketWatch, Fox Business, and hundreds of local media outlets from coast to coast and around the world. In 2019, Bruce managed the NFCC Military Financial Readiness Survey project, sponsored by Wells Fargo. 

Bruce McClary began his career in the nonprofit financial counseling and education sector in 1998 when he transitioned from the lending industry to become an NFCC certified credit counselor. During the past 22 years, he has provided one-on-one financial counseling to thousands of consumers, trained financial educators and reached millions more through print and broadcast media. Bruce often draws upon his direct experience as a lender and debt collector when speaking to journalists about matters of personal finance.
 

Rebecca Wiggins

Rebecca Wiggins is the Executive Director of the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education® (AFCPE®), a national nonprofit membership and certification association for personal finance professionals. She is a hands-on executive with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit organizational management. As a respected leader, she has built a thriving and dedicated team with strategic vision, while optimizing operational efficiencies and encouraging partnership and innovation. Rebecca is a passionate advocate for issues of economic security and strives to create a more equitable and inclusive society for all people.

In her role as Executive Director, AFCPE has expanded partnerships to include work with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, FEMA, National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), and the USAA Educational Foundation. AFCPE also earned NCCA Accreditation for the AFC® (Accredited Financial Counselor®) credential, which sets the certification mark apart from others in the field and emphasizes the highest standard of excellence that AFCPE has built for this field.
Previously, Rebecca managed multiple financial education grant-funded programs for military financial counselors and educators, in partnership with FINRA Investor Education Foundation and Department of Defense. As Grant Programs Coordinator, Ms. Wiggins worked collaboratively with subject matter curriculum and design experts, managing the quality assurance, implementation, and evaluation components for each project. 

As Director of Certification Programs, Ms. Wiggins expanded the organization’s Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) University partnership program and implemented policies and procedures for greater efficiency and support for certification candidates. Additionally, she worked to elevate standards and support for the post certification requirements to maintain AFCPE designations.
Ms. Wiggins holds a Masters of Family Financial Planning and a Masters in Business Administration. She is deeply committed to AFCPE’s mission and vision to ensure that all people, regardless of income level or background, have access to the highest standards of financial counseling, coaching, and education.

Bonnie Wallace is the Vice President and Channel Manager in the Wells Fargo Foundation focused on Financial Health Philanthropy and the Hands on Banking® program, an award-winning program that provides free financial education, tools and resources to children, teens, adults, seniors, military and entrepreneurs throughout the company’s national footprint.  In this role, she works to improve the financial capabilities of underserved and unbanked communities through strategic partnerships with nonprofit and government organizations. 

With 22 years in Financial Services, Bonnie’s background includes diversified experience in strategy development, business development, product development, marketing, sales, operations management, process improvement, and training.
